Deep Basement

GeMech Limited, our sister company within the GeMech Foundations Group, design and construct contiguous interlocking and secant piles.

We have a wealth of experience in constructing contiguous interlocking and secant piles on inner city sites, which are often difficult to access and sometimes relatively small and unsuitable for larger piling machines. Piles of this type are typically used in the construction of new build basements substructures in close proximity to existing structures requiring restraint and where working space is often limited. This technique avoids excessive excavation and assists in the control of ground movement. Our pile diameters range between 350mm and 950mm. Piles centres depend on the type of pile being constructed, whether they be contiguous, interlocking or secant.

Unlike other piling contractors we also undertake substructure excavation, reinforcement and concrete works, thus providing our clients with a one-stop shop for deep basements and substructure works.
